Our Story
Terraform Tillage was founded by Josh Jeske in 2020 while he was participating in the Iowa State CYstarters entrepreneurial program. His patent-pending SmartProbe System technology makes traditional soil penetrometer mapping more efficient and effective.
The SmartProbe System features a new SmartProbe app and mounting kit to attach a smartphone to a soil penetrometer.
Now, a farmer can easily record penetrometer readings and create real-time maps showing yield-robbing soil compaction at different depths in the field. That can allow tillage to be focused on areas of the field that need it—increasing yields, reducing costs and improving soil health.
Farmers in north central Iowa can also contract for a soil compaction mapping service based on the SmartProbe System.
